I’m 22 years old and I want to be your next representative to Virginia’s House of Delegates. Yup, you read that right. I am not your average candidate.
I’m a recent alum of Johns Hopkins University and Oxford University and have a B.S. and an M.S. in Molecular Biology.
Why is a molecular biologist running for the House of Delegates?
As a scientist, I believe that good government policy is something that is based on facts – a notion that politics nowadays seems to increasingly distance itself from. The problems we face, whether it is our high toll roads, healthcare, or climate change can be addressed through thorough research, careful analysis, and creative solutions with a collaborative approach.
Send me to Richmond and I will make laws that make sense. Laws that have a foundation, both solid and true. Laws that work for the people, not against them.
What you need from your next representative is someone with new ideas and the courage to carry them out.
